Hon. Dr. Byakatonda Abdul is a Board member of VFL. He is an experienced and skilled Leader who has served the workers of Uganda passionately in different capacities. He is currently a Member of Parliament of Uganda representing workers and also a member, National Negotiating and Consultative Council, Ministry of Public service.
He previously worked with Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) in different ranks of Human Resource Management since 2005 and left in 2013 at the rank of Principal Human Resource Officer/ Head Employee relations. He further served as a chairperson of the Departed Asian’s property Custodian Board from the year 2018 to 2021.
Hon. Dr. Byakatonda Abdul holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Behaviour from Janus University (USA), a Master in Management studies from Uganda Management Institute, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute and Bachelors of Development studies from Makerere University, Uganda.
